14 Days Grand Rajasthan Tour from Delhi
14 Day Grand Rajasthan Tour from Delhi
Places Covered on This Journey.
Tour Overview
This private 14-day Rajasthan journey begins in Delhi and moves at a measured pace through the state’s great royal cities. Travel in a chauffeur-driven vehicle, with time to settle into carefully selected luxury and heritage-style hotels rather than rushing from one monument to the next.
In Jaipur, private guided visits reveal the scale of Amber Fort, the artistry of the City Palace and the astronomical instruments of Jantar Mantar. Bikaner adds a quieter chapter of Rajput heritage, with the red sandstone grandeur of Junagarh Fort and old merchant neighbourhoods.
Jaisalmer brings you to the edge of the Thar Desert, where the inhabited fort rises above golden lanes and finely carved havelis. Continue to Jodhpur for Mehrangarh Fort and views across the Blue City, then slow down beside Udaipur’s lakes, gardens and City Palace.
The final days are spent in Ranthambore, where scheduled safaris offer a chance to look for tiger and other wildlife in a former royal hunting ground. Private local guides add context where it matters, while your chauffeur handles the road journeys and your return to Delhi is arranged in comfort.
Highlights of Your Journey.
Your Day-by-Day Journey
Explore your private India tour day by day, with comfortable travel, sightseeing and carefully planned experiences.
Arrive in Delhi and meet your representative for a private transfer to your hotel. The remainder of the day is free to rest after your flight or begin with a gentle orientation drive, depending on arrival time.
After breakfast, travel by private vehicle to Jaipur. Check in and enjoy an unhurried afternoon. If time permits, visit the graceful façade of Hawa Mahal or browse the jewellery and textile shops around the old city.
Explore Jaipur with your private guide. Visit Amber Fort, with its courtyards and hilltop views, followed by the City Palace and Jantar Mantar. The evening is free for a relaxed dinner or an optional cultural experience.
Drive west through Rajasthan’s changing landscape to Bikaner. After checking in, enjoy time at leisure at your hotel or take a short walk through the local market area.
Visit Junagarh Fort, one of Rajasthan’s most impressive unconquered forts, before continuing across the desert plains to Jaisalmer. Arrive by evening and settle into your hotel.
Explore the living Jaisalmer Fort, its Jain temples and historic lanes, then see Patwon Ki Haveli and the lakeside setting of Gadisar. Later, travel to the dunes for a camel or jeep experience and an evening in the desert, subject to chosen arrangements.
Leave Jaisalmer after breakfast and drive to Jodhpur. The afternoon is kept free for rest, a visit to the old bazaar, or time to enjoy your heritage-style hotel.
Visit the formidable Mehrangarh Fort with a private guide, followed by Jaswant Thada. Continue into the blue-painted lanes near the old city for photographs and a closer look at everyday Jodhpur.
Travel south towards Udaipur, pausing at the intricately carved Ranakpur Jain temples where timing permits. Continue through the Aravalli Hills and arrive in Udaipur by evening.
Discover Udaipur’s City Palace complex, its museums and terraces overlooking Lake Pichola. Also visit Saheliyon-ki-Bari and the old city. A sunset boat ride on Lake Pichola may be arranged separately, subject to water levels and availability.
Depart Udaipur for Ranthambore by private vehicle. This is a longer driving day, planned with comfort stops en route. Arrive at your wildlife lodge or hotel and relax before the safari programme begins.
Join scheduled shared-canter or jeep safaris in Ranthambore National Park, subject to permit confirmation. Between safaris, enjoy time at the lodge or visit Ranthambore Fort if park timings and energy allow.
After breakfast, return to Delhi by private vehicle. Check in at your hotel and spend the evening at leisure; a farewell dinner can be arranged on request.
Enjoy a private transfer to Delhi airport or railway station for your onward journey. Departure timing will be planned around your flight or train schedule.
