6 Days Golden Triangle Ranthambore Tiger Safari
6 Day Golden Triangle Tour with Ranthambore Tiger Safari
Places Covered on This Journey.
A considered route through India’s heritage and wilderness
This 6 days Golden Triangle tour with Ranthambore is designed for travellers who want India’s landmark cities and a national-park safari in one well-managed private itinerary. It begins with Delhi’s Mughal and imperial-era sites, continues to Agra for its great monuments, then follows the road through Fatehpur Sikri to Ranthambore before finishing among Jaipur’s palaces, observatories and forts.
Travel is by private air-conditioned car with a professional driver, giving the journey a more comfortable rhythm than a fixed coach programme. There is time for a sunrise visit to the Taj Mahal, an evening view from Mehtab Bagh, and a carefully scheduled morning safari in Ranthambore National Park. Road journeys are planned with sensible breaks, check-in time and the flexibility to adjust sightseeing around your arrival and onward plans.
The Delhi Agra Jaipur Ranthambore tour suits couples, families and small private parties seeking a refined introduction to North India. Optional local guides can add context at major monuments, while the safari offers a contrasting day in the dry forests and lakes of Rajasthan. This Golden Triangle India tour package can end in Jaipur or return to Delhi, depending on your flight plans and preferred pace.
Highlights of Your Journey.
Your Day-by-Day Journey
Explore your private India tour day by day, with comfortable travel, sightseeing and carefully planned experiences.
On arrival at Delhi airport, railway station or your city hotel, meet your private driver and transfer to your accommodation. After check-in, the remainder of the day is free to rest after travel or make independent plans. No formal sightseeing is scheduled, allowing the programme to work smoothly with early-morning or late-evening arrivals. Overnight in Delhi.
Spend a full day discovering Delhi with your private car and driver; an expert local guide may be added on request. Begin in Old Delhi at Jama Masjid and continue through the lanes around Chandni Chowk, with time to see Raj Ghat. In New Delhi, visit India Gate, Humayun’s Tomb and Qutub Minar. Sightseeing typically takes 7–9 hours, although traffic, monument queues and your preferred pace can affect timings. Overnight in Delhi.
After breakfast, drive from Delhi to Agra, approximately 230 km via the Yamuna Expressway. Allow around 4–5 hours, excluding breaks and city traffic. After hotel check-in, visit Agra Fort, the Mughal stronghold of red sandstone and marble apartments. Later, cross to Mehtab Bagh for a calm riverside perspective towards the Taj Mahal, especially attractive near sunset. Overnight in Agra.
Visit the Taj Mahal at sunrise, before returning for breakfast and check-out. Please note that the Taj Mahal is closed every Friday; departures are planned so this visit does not fall on a Friday, or the order of sightseeing must be adjusted. Continue towards Ranthambore, stopping at Fatehpur Sikri to see the remarkably preserved Mughal capital. The total Agra–Ranthambore journey is about 280 km and generally takes 6–7 hours including the Fatehpur Sikri visit and breaks. Arrive in Sawai Madhopur/Ranthambore and check in. Overnight in Ranthambore.
Set out early for a scheduled morning safari in Ranthambore National Park in an officially allocated safari vehicle. Permit allocation, vehicle type and zone are governed by forest-department availability and regulations. Tiger sightings cannot be guaranteed: wildlife moves freely across the national park and every safari is different. After breakfast and check-out, drive to Jaipur, around 160–180 km and approximately 3–4 hours depending on traffic and stops. Check in on arrival. Overnight in Jaipur.
Explore Jaipur’s principal monuments with your private vehicle. Visit Amber Fort, then continue to City Palace and Jantar Mantar; view Hawa Mahal from the exterior and stop at Jal Mahal for photographs. After sightseeing, choose a drop-off in Jaipur at your airport, railway station or hotel. A Delhi drop-off can also be arranged; Jaipur to Delhi is approximately 270–290 km and usually requires 5–6 hours by road, plus breaks and traffic time.
